Letter From A Fauxhawk (featuring Jayson Fleury!)

Jayson Fleury- From Harsha Walia’s Fauxhawk Band

I woke up this morning to find I got a message from Jayson Fleury- you may remember him from my story about Occupy Toronto’s ‘sacred’ fire. If you’ve been around activist circles in Toronto or Vancouver, chances are you’ve run across this guy.

Have a look at his letter, and my response below. This could be interesting…

UPDATED: How I Occupied Toronto’s Church of the Holy Trinity (or, Bullied at the Pulpit!)

As God liveth, who hath taken away my right; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; Job 27:2

I went out tonight expecting a gentle evening. A good friend, and fellow occupier, told me that Occupy Faith was having an event at the Anglican Church Of The Holy Trinity. So, I hopped onto a bus, threw-in a token and was off on my way…

Occupy Toronto And The DTES FauxHawk’s Sacred Fire! (Featuring Harsha Walia & David Eby!)

Can You Recognize This Man? (don’t worry, he’ll be unmasked in a moment)

One of my more memorable moments at Occupy Vancouver was the day when two indigenous men from Vancouver’s Downtown East Side (DTES) lit a ‘sacred’ fire in the middle of our camp. I didn’t know it at the time, but both these men had a long history working with Harsha Walia & No One Is Illegal. I wrote one of my earliest stories on this incident- labelling it a sacred provocation

Ryerson Professor Winnie Ng Suports Notable Con-Artist Kevin Annett!

Winnie’s seat was previously held by, darling of the Black Bloc Judy Rebick!

The deeper I research into these people, the more it seems to me they are involved in a sinister conspiracy to take advantage of Canada’s indigenous communities…

No Wonder Harsha Walia Loves To Pimp Violence!

Yeah Dave Eby- she does seem outrageous, doesn’t she!

Ever since the first day I used Twitter I’ve been amazed by its power. Not only because of its value for getting my words out to the world- but, equally, it is a wonderful tool for querying the world for information…

A Great Video From The May Day March (with special guest- me!)

Someone just posted a link to this video on Facebook, thought I would share. Amongst some great interviews with Lawrence McCurry, Jon Allen, Derrick Soberal, Officer Bubbles, The Scary Lady Cop & Dan Dix– you will also find your’s truly! (starting at around 27 minutes)

Though you may be tempted to fast-forward to the best part (starting at around 27 minutes, lol), I recommend watching through the whole show. It gives a great sense of how the day went, and a many alternative opinions you won’t hear from hacks like the Media Co-Op & Rabble

Krazy Krystalline Kraus Pretending To Be A Native!

I remember watching a video of KKK talking at an Occupy Toronto GA claiming that she speaks for the indigenous community. And, here, she’s singing their songs and pretending to be one of them…
