Last week I had the (dis)honour of having one of my articles republished by one of the most radical & racist websites I’ve run across. It warmed my heart to see how they labelled me as ‘a somewhat infamous White participant in the #Occupy Movement in Kanada’. That said, they should have done their research, I quit the Occupy movement a couple of months ago– tired of the focus on political correctness over making change…
All I’ve been asking for is the same as Chris mentions in this video: Transparency, Honesty, and a Rigid adherence to nonviolence. People who are suggesting we support Black Bloc and Diversity of Tactics are clearly working for the 1%. Occupiers! When will you finally understand this!
Please, realize this now- we need to move on and start making a difference!

I’ve been researching & writing about Black Bloc tactics for six months now- ever since someone released the video of Harsha Walia viciously attacking Derrick O’Keefe after the ‘Heart Attack’ incident at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. I was disgusted by Harsha’s take in this video- her use of racism, sexism & classism seemed like a wholly inappropriate tactic for someone who claims they fight for Social Justice…

Dave Vasey: Graduate of the George Soros funded Ruckus Society!
Here’s a letter I posted to all of the people at Occupy Toronto- that is, all of those who I could reach. It seems, unfortunately, that some of the people who consider themselves as leaders in our leaderless organisation have decided to practice conviction without trial. So, contrary to our agreement, they blocked my ability to send this letter out…
This is what
democracy dictatorship looks like!

What’s the Link Between Kevin O’Leary, Chris Hedges & The Reverend Billy Talen?
Please read this article by Chris Hedges– arguably the most prominent writer of the Occupy Movement. Chris has been with Occupy Wall Street since the start. I remember watching him on Livestream during the early days of OWS- his words were truly inspiring.
I setup a demonstration on behalf of Chris at Occupy Vancouver last year in October. It was after Kevin O’Leary shamed the CBC by a Fox News style attack on Chris, including calling him a nutbar! The Occupy solution was to bring Chris Hedges books for him to sign. O’Leary obviously doesn’t’ have a sense of humor, as he refused to sign the books. Coward!
Reverend Billy (sans-balaclava)
Chris’ article is, perhaps, a bit more on the angry side than his usual writing- I can relate to that. Most of us joined the Occupy movement because we were inspired by the idea of a peaceful revolution. Watching it get hijacked by violent punks and political hacks can be challenging to one’s peaceful inner self.
Pacifism can be a frustrating hobby…
Chris was arrested alongside Reverend Billy Talen along with 15 other people at Occupy Wall Street for demonstrating in-front of Goldman Sachs. Chris is a Pulitzer Prize winning war journalist who has experienced hardcore revolutions right up to the front lines.
And, a quick note to people who support the violent and anti-social tactics used by people in occupations like Oakland, Denver and Vancouver. Before you start questioning Chris Hedge’s cred, please tell us how many time’s you’ve been arrested, and how many real wars you have seen. If the answer to either is zero, you are probably not qualified to- so, please use logic over ad-hominem Pablum.
Enjoy the reading, and please share your feelings on this matter. Regardless of whether you are a fan of Occupy or not- this issue needs to be attended to. Oh, and don’t forget to read the comments section attached to Chris’ article! Some of you may be shocked by what you see! 😉

Great video from Anonymous on the Black Bloc issue that details how Black Bloc tactics are hurting the movement. The video begins with images of the G8 in Montebello Quebec- where the Quebec Provincial Police infiltrated the demonstrators and tried to incite violence….

I feel bad for all of the peaceful demonstrators at Occupy Oakland The OPD are known for their violence, but actions like this only add fuel to the fire. That said, this is the intention of the Black Bloc– their philosophy is to escalate the situation in hopes that it will motivate the 99% to be outraged and join the movement.
Oakland's Black Bloc in action...
