Report From Tonight’s Casseroles March At Toronto’s George Brown College!

I like George Brown college. I lectured there about the Occupy movement a couple of months ago- the students were smart, inquisitive, and turned on to the issues of social activism. So, when I heard they were having their first Caserolle March, I ran out of the house to cover tonight’s event!

Toronto Hydro Insults Torontonians!

I got a response about yesterday’s article on mental health stigmatisation from Toronto Hydro this morning. I must say, whoever wrote this has very little respect for our intelligence. Here’s my response to them…

The Black Bloc Have Honoured Me With A Personalized Chant!

Anarchist Joey- more to come on him!

There’s a funny thing about Toronto’s anarcho-primitivist community. On the one hand, they are complete attention whores- putting on a show for every TV camera they see. And, quite flatteringly, members of the Bloc had their own special chant for me! I’ll keep you in suspense, and will post it later tonight…

Signing out,

Letter From A Fauxhawk (featuring Jayson Fleury!)

Jayson Fleury- From Harsha Walia’s Fauxhawk Band

I woke up this morning to find I got a message from Jayson Fleury- you may remember him from my story about Occupy Toronto’s ‘sacred’ fire. If you’ve been around activist circles in Toronto or Vancouver, chances are you’ve run across this guy.

Have a look at his letter, and my response below. This could be interesting…
